IVAO Switzerland Staff



We are often looking for volunteers willing to help our staff, managing our division and network. If you are motivated and ready to spend some more hours for our division, then you're at the right place !


To be a member of the staff team, you have to fulfill these following requirements, regardless of the position you are applying for:

  • be 18 years old (16 with HQ approval)
  • be active on IVAO since minimum 6 months
  • have the ADC or PP rating (Except Membership, Public Relations and Webmaster departments)
  • be in division for at least 1 year

CH-ADIR - Assistant Director

The responsibilities of the CH-ADIR:

  • Responsible for keeping the division operational in coordination with division director
  • Organise staff meetings
  • Help membership department in members issues and have a look to division changes requests
  • Supervise all the others departments


  • Speak English and one of the Swiss national language very fluently
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Live in the country
  • Be often available
  • Have a good knowledge of Switzerland's procedures and IVAO's activity
  • Have organisational skills
  • Have an excellent knowledge of rules and regulations and procedures in Switzerland


CH-AWM - Assistant Webmaster

The responsibilities of the CH-AWM:

  • Assist the Webmaster making plans and decision for future projects
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if required
  • Write clean code


  • Speak English and one of the Swiss national language very fluently
  • Be often available
  • Have organisational skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of developing in PHP
  • Good knowledge of Laravel.
  • Experience in third-party APIs
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc.


LSAG-ACH - Assistant Fir Chief (Geneva)

The responsibilities of the LSAG-ACH:

  • Update the local procedures and documentation in consultation with the ATC Ops Department
  • Help the Events Department organizing events in the FIR
  • Manage the tasks that have been delegated by LSAG-CH


  • Speak English and one of the Swiss national language very fluently
  • Have organisational skills
  • Have the ADC rating (no pilot rating required)
  • Be familiar with the procedures of the major aiports in the FIR
  • Be interested in the real life operations of Switzerland in order to use it on IVAO


CH-FOAC - Flight Operations Assistant Coordinator

The responsibilities of the CH-FOAC:

  • Updating the documents, the procedures and the information about pilots and flying
  • Helping the events department to manage pilot events and tours
  • Answering the questions from the members concerning flight activities
  • Creating division tours and validate legs


  • Be a Swiss division member for at least 12 months
  • Good knowledge of the IVAO organization and its Rules and Regulations
  • Very good knowledge of the Swiss local procedures
  • Good knowledge in English is mandatory, any other Swiss national language is an asset
  • Available time minimum 3 hours a week - but keep in mind we have exams and training sessions so flexibility is highly requested
  • Hold at least a ADC and PP rating, a higher rating is an asset
